General Terms and Conditions
Applications are submitted through the Energy Efficiency Award website using the approved forms.
The award is open to all sectors, entities, and individuals targeted in the listed categories, as specified in the Award Guide.
The applicant must agree to the Award’s terms and conditions before submitting a nomination, and must be officially authorized by the entity they represent to fill out and submit the application.
The Award Secretariat reserves the right to verify the accuracy of information and data submitted in nomination applications, and to disqualify any application that does not meet the Award’s conditions and criteria.
Applicants must comply with the specified deadlines for accepting submissions, as outlined in the Award cycle.
All supporting files and documents must be attached; a nomination is not considered complete unless all required materials are uploaded before submission.
The Award Secretariat has the right to modify or cancel the Award or any of its categories as it sees fit, with prior notice to participants.
Applications that do not meet the Award’s conditions and criteria including incomplete or ineligible ones will be disqualified.
The applying entity must notify the Award Secretariat if the person responsible for submitting or following up on the application changes.
The Award Secretariat may publish all or part of the submitted information in a knowledge database to share expertise and highlight best practices, while ensuring no confidential information or proprietary commercial data of participating entities is disclosed.
Submitting an application constitutes the applicant’s acknowledgment that they have read and fully agree to the Award’s criteria, terms, and conditions.
The Award Secretariat bears no legal responsibility for technical failures or errors resulting from connectivity issues or data entry problems in the Award system.
The Saudi Energy Efficiency Center and its employees are not permitted to participate in the Award.
The evaluation stage is confidential; the Award Secretariat and members of the qualification and judging committees are obligated to maintain the confidentiality of submitted information and data, and must not use it for any purposes unrelated to the evaluation process.
The judging committee’s decisions are final upon approval by the supervisory committee and cannot be appealed.
The applicant is responsible for the accuracy and correctness of the information and data submitted in the nomination.
The applicant acknowledges that the materials and information submitted do not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights, and bears full responsibility for any legal claims that may arise from that.
Participating entities or individuals may not use the Energy Efficiency Award logo or reference their participation or winning in any media or promotional materials until the official announcement of results.
Members of the qualification and judging committees must disclose any potential conflict of interest with the applying entities or individuals; if a conflict exists, the member must refrain from evaluating the relevant application.
The applicant undertakes not to submit any files containing viruses or software that may compromise the integrity of the Award’s electronic system, and shall be legally liable if this is proven.
